Title: MWME 0001 - Modem Internal Error - IBM ThinkPad

Computer Effected: IBM Think Pad, Win 2000 (IBM, US Robotics Modem)

Symptoms: Modem no longer works after upgrade to win 2000. Start up errors include MWME 0001 - Modem Internal Error, File MWMWIN.c

Description: Apparently there are some registry keys that are modified during the upgrade process that disable the modem.

Solution: Download and run this patch mwregfix.exe (28k)
